  • Is only accessible by the Bin Collection app on your device
  • May be included in your device's iCloud backup (controlled by your iOS settings)

Notifications

Bin Collection uses iOS's local notification system to remind you about bin collection days. These notifications:

  • Are generated entirely on your device
  • Do not require internet connectivity
  • Are not sent through external services
  • Can be disabled in your device's Settings app

Home Screen Widget

The Bin Collection home screen widget displays information from your local app data. This widget:

  • Only accesses data stored locally on your device
  • Does not make network requests
  • Updates using iOS's widget system

Third-Party Services

Bin Collection does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services. The app operates entirely independently on your device.

App Store and iOS

While Bin Collection itself doesn't collect data, please note that:

  • Apple may collect data through the App Store (downloads, reviews, etc.) according to their privacy policy
  • iOS may collect system-level data according to your device settings and Apple's privacy policy
  • We have no access to or control over this Apple-collected data

Data Security

Since all your data stays on your device, the security of your information depends on:

  • Your device's security settings (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID)
  • iOS's built-in security mechanisms
  • Your iCloud backup settings (if you choose to use iCloud backup)

Children's Privacy

Bin Collection does not collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. The app can be safely used by users of all ages.

Changes to This Policy

If we make any changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the "Last updated" date and post the new policy on this page. Since we don't collect contact information, we cannot notify users directly of changes.
